Platform

The Pipeline Passport

Client
The Pipeline Project — a year-round workforce initiative connecting K–12 schools, resorts, and industry partners across the ski industry.

The Challenge
The ski industry faces real workforce shortages, while most students and educators have never been shown the careers that keep a mountain running — lift operations, snowmaking, grooming, and more. The Pipeline Project bridges that gap through school programs, resort partnerships, and career-exploration events, but the training and on-the-job progress that came out of those programs lived in scattered spreadsheets, paper checklists, and mentor memory. Nothing followed the student from the classroom to their first day on the mountain, and no one had a shared view of who was ready for what.

What We Built
The Pipeline Passport: one platform, two connected tools built around a single skills record that follows each person from first exposure through certification. A Pipeline-run student program handles classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and the 1–4 skill scale used by school coordinators and instructors. A resort-operated workforce tracker lets 18+ employees log their own work in the field and mentors sign off on the spot. Role-based access for Pipeline admins, school coordinators, resort mentors, and participants keeps each group focused on what they own, while every skill, hour, and sign-off rolls up into one passport shared across schools and resorts.

Outcomes
  • One shared record from a student's first classroom hour through workforce certification
  • Resort mentors log and sign off in the field instead of on paper
  • School coordinators see live student progress across cohorts
  • Pipeline admins get a real-time view of the workforce pipeline across every partner school and resort

The W.I.S.E. Marketing Assessment

Client
Wise Marketing Strategy — a marketing consultancy serving education, EdTech, and workforce-development organizations.

The Challenge
Every client engagement started with the same question: where does this organization's marketing actually stand? The answer lived in the consultant's head. Assessments were ad hoc, findings were rebuilt from scratch in every proposal deck, and there was no consistent way to show a client how far they'd come after a year of working together.

What We Built
A structured assessment system built around the W.I.S.E. framework — Write, Integrate, Structure, Equip. Consultants score each area against clear, defined criteria on a guided scorecard, and the tool generates a polished, client-ready report in one click: an overall maturity stage, what's working, what's holding them back, and a quarter-by-quarter roadmap. Every line of the report is click-to-edit before it goes out as a PDF or PowerPoint, and every assessment is saved to a client history that charts scores over time — so re-assessments show measurable progress.

Outcomes
  • A repeatable, consistent assessment replaces gut-feel evaluations
  • The analysis no longer relies on one person — the whole team can run assessments, so the practice can scale
  • Client-ready findings-and-roadmap reports generated in minutes, not days
  • Editable output — consultants reword any finding before exporting to PDF or PowerPoint
  • Score history per client turns re-assessments into visible proof of progress
